About Bosco

Bosco is a care plan management app designed to help you follow the tasks and instructions given to you by your healthcare provider. Bosco is operated by Bosco Health (ABN 97 188 711 415), Queensland, Australia.

Not medical advice

Bosco is a tool to help you organise and remember your care plan. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. All information displayed in the app comes directly from what your clinician has written. Bosco never adds to, modifies, or interprets clinical instructions. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare provider, and contact them directly if you have any concerns about your health.

Your data stays on your device

All care plan data you enter into Bosco is stored locally on your device only. Bosco does not upload or transmit your care plan data to any server. If you delete the app, your data is removed from your device. We recommend keeping a record of your care plan information separately in case you need to reinstall the app.

Document scanning

When you photograph or submit a document or text to Bosco, it is sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to be read and interpreted so your care tasks can be extracted. By using this feature, you consent to your document being sent to Anthropic for this purpose. Submitted content is not retained by Anthropic.

Anonymous analytics

Bosco collects anonymous usage data including task completion patterns and feature usage. No personally identifying information is collected. There is no user account and no identity of any kind is linked to this data. By using Bosco, you consent to this anonymous data collection. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Bosco only for its intended purpose: managing care plans for yourself or someone you care for. You must not:

• Use Bosco for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the app
• Attempt to interfere with the app's systems or analytics
• Use the app in any way that could harm yourself or others

Availability

We aim to keep Bosco available and functioning well, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the app will be error-free. We may update or temporarily suspend the app without notice.

Intellectual property

Bosco and all associated content, design, and code are owned by Bosco Health. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Bosco Health is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including loss of data stored on your device. We strongly recommend keeping a separate record of your care plan information.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, particularly as new features are introduced. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Bosco after changes means you accept the updated terms.
